June 12, American Cherry
I visit my brother once a moth, and teach water color for their neighbors. I have been doing this for 11 years. It is fun to visit them beside teaching, because my cousin and his wife are good hosts.
They are good cooks. We have tradition in June. My cousin makes Cherry Jublile, which ingredients are liqueur, brandy, butter, sugar, orange juice, lemon juice, American Cherries (cherries imported from America), and vanilla ice cream (Haagen-Daz is the best). It is heavenly delicious. I am trying not to eat rich dessert but this is exceptional. *・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・'(*゚▽゚*)'・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・*
Those photos are the process of cherry Jublile.

I visited my parents cemetery in the suburbs of Tokyo this afternoon.
Mountains and trees were beautiful with moist air.
It is a time of hydrangea. I offered some of them from my garden on my parents' tomb.
June 10, A swallow's nest
I got this photo from my brother a few days ago.
They found a swallow nest on their entrance wall.
I stopped today to see it, I can hear baby swallow chirping.

June 8, Rice paddies in June
June is the rainy season, it rained last night, but we have't have much rain.
There are many rice paddies in Kawagoe. The farmers in Kawagoe have completed planting rice.
This is one of my favorite view. The air through rice paddy is very fresh.

May 29, Wednesday, Shibuya-Harajyuku-Shinjyuku
I had a date with my old carny Eiko. She and her husband visited Japan from V.C, Canada. They moved to Canada in their late 20's.
Eiko and I studied at the Kuwasawa Design School which located between Shibuya and Harajyuku.
We met in front of a statue of Hachiko at Shibuya station at 11:00.
FYI Hollywood made the movie '' HACHI", 2009.
This is quotation from the movie explanation.
" Hachiko always used to wait at Shibuya train station for its master, a professor at the University of Tokyo.
Even after the professor died, the dog waited every day at the station for a decade, until it died in 1935.
People were so moved they built a statue of Hachiko at the station
, which remaina a popular rendezvous for Japanese today"

Shibuya train station has been expanded, very busy so no dogs allow to walk by theirselves.
